Sunset Strip is located on the 290 feeder at Mangum, which is just NW of 610. The club is new, clean, and brighter and more well appointed than many clubs. There are a dozen flat screens, located close to the seating for good viewing, giving the place more of a sports bar feel than gentleman's club. The club's current claim to fame is its weekday free buffet, 11-2, which features salad, hot vegetables and sides, and several different entrees every day, plus a wide dessert selection. Drinks are modestly priced, especially during the 4-8 happy hour, when you can get two drinks for less than some clubs charge for a coke. A variety of dancers and music should appeal to most men. Currently a hidden gem as the location does not appear on google maps.
Webmaster Note:
Website is decent. However there is no phone number printed anywhere on it. They might want to make that update. Photos of the club make it look very modern and clean. Called for Info and was greeted by a friendly female. Very helpful and polite. This place has potential. Google maps aerial view shows a plenty of parking, but its not exactly a great area of town. You can tell it was formally another venue, but not sure which one. Google maps Street View shows the building undergoing heavy renovations back in June 2011. 2014 Street View shows a very clean building. If you are looking for a new club to try in Houston it might be worth a try. Drink prices and cover are less than most other clubs in town, and the reviews online tend to indicate its an under valued establishment ( More quality for less money ) I haven't been there myself, but may have to drop by the check it out.
