Review: Last Saturday (5/18/2013), a friend of mine brought me to Jaguars Gold Club in Abilene to try and lift me out of my depression, even if only by a small amount. I was skeptical at first, having never been to a strip club before, but then a couple of unexpected things occurred. First, the first woman who approached me took me to the V.I.P. Lounge to cheer me up, and I have to say, it worked. I lost count of exactly how many dances I bought from her, but it was at least four. She understood how nervous I was, and was accordingly gentle with me. Surprisingly, she was rather nerdy (like me), as she recognized the insignia on my Captain Hammer t-shirt, which I enjoyed immensely. I regret that I was unable to learn her name, as it was exceedingly lound outside the lounge, but I remember that she wore thick-framed glasses and was rather tall. After that I was approached by another young woman who happened to enjoy the same anime as I do, and was forgiving when I accidently knocked over a beer on her leg. I didn't catch either of their names, but I'm grateful to both of them for understanding my skiddishness. I don't know if they'll ever see this, but I hope they do, because I want them to know that my first strip club experience was absolutely life-changing and uplifting thanks to them. I plan on returning when I can, and I hope I can see them again and thank them in person when I do.
Pros: Find the right dancers for you, and you'll have the time of your life.
Cons: Some of the tables were covered in empty beer cups and bottles, but it was busy, so that's understandable.
